Keep it up as long as you feel you need to. "It's not a race" is what I try to remember. I can't say this will be a comfortable way to learn for everyone because everyone learns differently. This is what works for me. But I do believe we all can learn from watching the market. It's simple once you realize that the market is a teacher. Anything you want to know about the market watch it and it will tell you. It takes hours and hours and hours of watching the market to get a feel for the market but once you get that feel it's your best indicator.
I like Ichimoku and you probably will also, just keep in mind that once too many people are using it all @ the same time like a fad or something the market will disrupt it just like any other indicator in that position. But used together with other indicators and price, time and volume it's a good look.
I'm no Ichimoku expert but there are some on twitter and you can put Ichimoku into a youtube search and find pretty good vids. Do that, it's worth it. Like I used to be a lot of people don't like Ichimoku because of how complicated it sounds. Let's hope it stays that way so the indicator can last a bit longer. Good luck & happy hunting traders.
